Why is it not surprising that in the wake of the horrific attacks in Boston, some in Congress and elsewhere are clamoring to put the brakes on the first real attempt at much-needed immigration reform in years?

Do the politicians think we are idiots? Reports all day of airport delays due to sequestration-induced furloughs of FAA personnel. Even with the sequestration “cuts”, the FAA right now has more money to spend than they actually requested for FY2013. Ending White House tours is silly; playing politics with air travel and commerce is serious. If they can’t “manage” these modest “cuts”, perhaps we need new managers.
